Distribution Requiring Advance Written Permission. You must obtain written permission in advance if you wish to reproduce Content in digital format or for any reason not listed in the previous paragraph. You can request this permission by sending us an email to contact@whatisfoia.org that contains the information listed below:
- a complete description of the Content requested, such as the URL of the Web page that contains the Content, a description of the sections or paragraphs that will be distributed, and, where applicable, the title and date of the Content;
- a description of the intended audience;
- a description of the manner of distribution;
- the length, retail price, and approximate size of first printing or circulation that will include the Content;
- a description of the geographic scope of the distribution and the length of time for which rights are being requested. (Please note that What is FOIA? grants only nonexclusive rights);
- a reply email address and phone number.
Trademark
You may not use any Marks for any product or service that does not belong to What is FOIA?, nor in any manner that is likely to cause confusion about whether we are the source, affiliated with, sponsor of or endorser of any product or service. In addition, you may not use the Marks in any manner that illegally disparages or discredits us.
